Couldn't Dixon easily find out what Bedard's plans were for the book by, I don't know, asking him? I mean does DC have a policy of hiding creator's email addresses from each other or something?

I can understand why Bendis would show such "ignorance about the finished product," in light of the disconnect between Bendis's script and Yu's pencils. Bendis clearly enjoys working with Yu, and I doubt he wants to throw him to the wolves over this incident. Aside from that, it's freaking TIGRA. The character's continued existence owes itself primarily the fact that she's masturbation material for furries and catgirl fetishists, so anything you use her for is going to be overly sexualized. Overt sexualization is the only reason the character exists in the first place.

Yu's artwork has a history of being less than faithful for the script and the underlying "rules" of the characters. Back when they did the "Saving Private Echo" storyline, we got several instances where Echo clearly heard the closing ninjas, while she was supposed to be deaf.

All in all, I'm less than impressed in the guys ability to transfer text to pictures.
