This just in: Craigslist not necessarily to be trusted.

Rich Johnson reports a rather charged Craig’s List “Missed Connections” post about an employee of Midtown Comics. Millarworld decides:

“Believe it or not, blokes who work in comic stores do get asked out a bit. I kid you not. I’ve never had that posted about me mind you, and frankly thought it was a bit scary. Also, feel sorry for the bloke now his pic’s up. Hope Rich cleared it with him.”

“Wonder what’s so aphrodisiac about comic stores.”

“the smell of sweaty men… the aroma of gamer”

Sadly, someone has to bring reality into the equation:

“Hold on a second… everyone’s being very quick to assume that the original message that’s quoted by Rich in his column is real. Who’s to say that it’s not invented…? It doesn’t really sound very genuine, does it? Is this just a little bit of fanboy wishful thinking?”
