Oh, how I love Todd Klein’s blog. The letterer extraordinaire has just wrapped up a five-part survey of the Batman logos, from Detective Comics #27 to the present. In the final installment, he also takes a look at the logos for related titles, such as Batman and the Outsiders, The Batman Adventures and Shadow of the Bat.

Good read. I haven’t given much thought to logo styles, but now it’s made me a little more attentive. I look forward to a Wonder Woman and Justice League study.
