don’t get me wrong, the Sabbath power chords definitely fit. but the other part struck me funny.

Why does Tony Stark need to be redeemed? He’s infinitely more interesting when his motives are questionable.

Please, more interesting. The Bush presidency is way more interesting when he can arrest anyone who looks at him funny and tap phone calls with impunity. If Iron Man is more interesting this way then every hero with noble intentions is a bore. This movie is gonna rock and Iron Man will not have any questionable intentions. Nor will he do questionable things after his captivity. Villainy isn’t a measured on a sliding scale.

This is easily one of my most anticipated movies. I cannot wait for it to hit the bigscreen. So far, it looks amazingly faithful to the comics.

Looks Awesome. I will see this just based on the fact they were smart enough to use Iron Man the song; how can you not? But it all looks good, love the final suit.

I figured they’re doing it right back when I first heard they hired Robert Downey Jr for the role.

Iron Man’s never been too interesting to me. He always seemed like a Bruce Wayne knock-off. I really doubted they could make this movie without looking silly. I was fearing a Daredevil-quality movie, but I was very wrong. I would go as far as to say this is the best comic-movie costume translation to date. I think it’s because we aren’t working with tights. Still, this movie has all kind of coolness on it, and I can’t wait!

Never would have thought RDJ and Jon Favreau would be responsible for a big summer movie, but it may be the reason this movie ends up being good, great teaser, I’m actually excited for it.

Unfortunately, it’ll only have 20 days or so before the new Indiana Jones movie is released, so little opportunity for staying power in the theaters, regardless of how awesome it’s going to be (which is “very”).

Color me impressed.
