It’s a joke T-shirt, not a call to action

Remember the “Dan DiDio Must Die” T-shirt DC’s executive editor was presented, and then proudly wore, at Comic-Con?

Remember DC’s Bob Wayne asking the crowd, “How many of you would actually buy a ‘Dan DiDio Must Die’ T-shirt”?

Well, now you can. Our own Lisa Fortuner points to a website where you can buy the shirt, which, of course, is a parody of the “Jimmy Olsen Must Die” ads for Countdown. (If you scroll down, you can find “Max Lord Was Framed” shirts, and merchandise based on L from Death Note.)

There’s something a little creepy about those DiDio shirts, because I have a feeling some of the more, um, impassioned fans don’t view the slogan as a joke. But if DiDio can embrace the humor of it, then hey …

    Is Didio a supporter of this? I find either way hey why not, it’s still promotion back to him!
