Bendis: Shape Marvel Comics Output.

August 16th, 2007
Author Graeme McMillan

Brian Michael Bendis wants your help:

again I come to you… who should i work with? a couple of open slots, one issue stories and others, and a lot of busy or veeerrrryyy slow artists out there.

and every time i throw it open to the floor you guys do point me in an amazing direction or two… and seem to have fun doing this…

so, its for a couple of slashy superhero bits and a couple of darker ones as well… sorry i’m being so vague, but, you know, i’m skrully like that.

throw me some names. think outside the box.

and yes, i would work with byrne and he’s perfect for one of these. but i think he still despises me and thinks marvel doesn’t exsist and for all his recent talk on line he has not come to marvel looking around yet.

The best response so far:

That guy. You know that guy!

    I’m not on the Bendis Board so maybe some kind soul will pass these on;

Gene Ha (a marriage made in heaven)
    Kevin O’Neill
    (Another pairing with) Howard Chaykin
Frank Quitely (unless he and GM want to do more All-Star Superman in which case, leave him be please)
Ryan Sook on pencils, George Perez on inks (yeah, THAT’LL HAPPEN… but wouldn’t it be cool?)
    Kieron Dywer
    Adam Kubert (might’ve already happened)
    Dave Gibbons
    Mobius
Martial Arts/Espionage book w. Paul Gulacy
