Persepolis to close out New York Film Festival

The animated adaptation of Marjane Satrapi’s autobiographical Persepolis will close the 45th annual New York Film Festival, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The film, by Satrapi and Vincent Paronnaud, shared the Jury Prize at this year’s Cannes Film Festival.

The New York Film Festival runs from Sept. 28 to Oct. 14 at the Frederick P. Rose Hall in the Time Warner Center.

    Looks like it’s also playing at the Toronto International Film Festival in September.

    Awesome! I love to see this cutest animated movie.I enjoyed a lot the books with her graphic humour.
