The summer hasn’t been kind to North Texas … usually it’s the heat that gets you, but this year it’s been the rain.
The Hero Foundry, an organization that collects and donates comics and graphic novels to schools, libraries and other organizations, recently lost a lot of its inventory due to the heavy rainfall and flooding in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. So Titan Comics and Stumblebum Studios have teamed up for a fundraiser to help the Hero Foundry replace those lost books. The event on Aug. 11 features a live art show, an art auction and a concert featuring 100 Damned Guns and Sarah Gillmore.
