I was standing behind David Finch's table, waiting to talk to him (more on that later today) -- and there was this dad giving all these comics to Finch to sign, but his kid was standing in front of him just watching, so little that his head barely popped over the edge of the table. I took a photo of him. Then he stared at me. I winked at him. He winked back. Great kid. The kids at the con were a mixture of tired and cranky ... and totally wide-mouthed and overwhelmed by the giant statues and pirate ships. I felt both admiration and pity for them!
