MTV’s Movies Blog has photos of a sleek Audi R8 with the vanity plate “STARK 4″ parked outside of the Omni Hotel in San Diego. Earlier this week, Paramount Pictures announced it had partnered with Audi for a campaign to promote Iron Man. As part of the deal, the R8 will appear as Stark’s car in the movie.

I’m not usually one for product placement (I HATED the Dodge badging on the otherwise lovely Fantasticar) but that car looks really nice. Apparently it’s Audi’s top-of-the-line supercar. A pretty good fit for a playboy billionaire. They could have done a lot worse; at least he’s driving a supercar instead of an SUV.

Wait a minute - Stark? Vanity plate? Huh?

A very nice car that will get ruined after Stark drinks and drives.

Shouldn’t it be red or gold?

Looks Dope. I love propitiously placated product placement. I hope his comes with an EJECTOR SEAT, and laster guided MISSLES if not just some FLY-ASS BITCHES…
