    GUMBY WON?!! YES!!! :D

Everyone should be reading that book. It is AMAZING.

  2. Neil Carey Says:

Hooray for All-Star Superman, Batman Year 100, American Born Chinese, Ed Brubaker, and Paul Pope’s wins!

  3. Justin Boatwright Says:

Congrats to Paul Pope, he is one of the most talented creative minds alive and just keeps getting better.
Nice to see the Brian Bolland HC recognized, required reading for any fan of Bolland and just a gorgeous book to look through.
Also interesting to see Marvel shut out outside of Brubaker and Criminal.

  4. Nerdzner Says:

I’m happy with pretty much all of winners except I can’t believe that J.G. Jones didn’t win for best cover artist! Despite the quality and quantity of his 52 work, James Jean, quite frankly, isn’t that good, and has won for two or three years in a row…dissapointing.

  5. DaVeO Says:

I wanted J.G. Jones to win, but James Jean was my second choice.
Man, DC/Vertigo cleaned house this year.

  6. mfhmf Says:

Cheers for All Star Superman, Criminal, Fables and especially Ed Brubaker! I don’t think anyone can dispute that Bru’s deserved this award for a long time.

  7. Red Says:

This has been a long time coming for Brubaker. Congrats.

  8. DCfanMARVELsux Says:

DC cleaned Marvel’s clock! Other than Bru, Marvel sucks ass!

  9. ablist1 Says:

as much as people loved astonishing, im suprised there was no mention of that book for an award

  10. lunatic96 Says:

It’s weird (to me at least) that Fables seems to win so many of the artwork catagories. Surely there are other great cover artists, pencillers, and letterers out there.

  11. Spencer Carnage Says:

Props to my boys at Earth-2! The best comic shop in LA, hands down!

  12. 11ball Says:

J.G. Jones was frickin robbed for 52. Robbed, I tell you!!!
