Almost forgot about this. ICAF, formerly known as the International Cartoon Arts Festival, was recently renamed the International Cartoon Arts Forum. They’ve also revamped their Web site, and have a preliminary list of their guest list for the fall conference (October 18-20 in Washington DC), which includes such noteworthy cartoonists as Kyle Baker and Lat, as well as noteworthy scholars like Bart Beaty.
ICAF has consistently been one of the most interesting and rewarding comic-based conferences around and this year’s line-up looks to be especially good. So go check them out.
