In an article that mirrors one that Time published three months ago, USA Today tracks the not-so-elusive fanboy and discovers he’s 18 to 36 years of age, a gamer, a skeptic and an “early adopter.”
“He’s on iTunes on Tuesday, the comic book store on Wednesday and the movies on Friday,” says uber-fanboy Harry Knowles of Ain’t It Cool. “He’s first in line for the new thing.”

That’s the thing about USA Today. They always cut something out for the sake of pretty graphics or whatever. The full quote:
“He’s first in line for the new thing, but mainly because no one else is lining up.”

Ha! I had to resist the urge to amend it to read, “He’s first in line for the new thing … as long as it’s about a four-decade-old superhero.”

“A fanboy doesn’t ask me for a picture or for a date,” Alba says. “He wants to know what it’s like to meet Victor Von Doom. It’s a little strange, but cute.”
Then clearly I’m not a fan boy cause I’d have asked for a date.
