With the comic industry’s collective eyes on San Diego, Mark Millar decides to be contrary and talk about his upcoming appearance at Wizard World: Chicago:
It’s been quite frustrating not been able to talk about all the things I’ve been working on. But understandably Marvel wanted to make a splash and they have some cool stuff lined up, especially in relation to the big book I’m taking over with The Hitchster.
Also, look out for info and visuals on KICK-ASS with JRJR. I’ll be doing interviews and having a Millar Hour as soon as I’m back too, but all looking very exciting. 2007 was a year of rest based on my big chunk of time out in 06, but 08 is looking pretty sweet. 1985, The Hitchy Project, The McNiven Project, Kick-Ass, a big project with Tony Harris, the Wanted movie and a superhero TV I’m working on with friends for the BBC amount to a nice big 12 months running from January until December.
Good times. And all the blanks filled in 16 days!
Wait, 16 days? Really? What’s with all these conventions right next to each other?!?

I’m just sad we’re not going to have the panel everyone REALLY wants to see: Millar and Graeme hashing out their differences, Scotsman to Scotsman over rounds until they both get so hammered they make up with each other. I’d pay money to see that.
