Friday’s news that Knocked Up actor Seth Rogen will write, and likely star in, The Green Hornet movie left a lot of fans wringing their hands. So, this gritty and well-choreographed French Green Hornet short film — don’t worry, it’s in English — will either make them momentarily happy, or leave them longing for what might’ve been. Didn’t care much for the Matrix-y production style, and the actors playing the goons weren’t brilliant. But as for GH and Kato - effin’ WOW! Spot-on!
Hollywood - watch, learn, and start taking notes…

I don’t think Seth Rogen’s Green Hornet will ever see the light of day. I remember a similar project floated for then Slacker King du Jour Jack Black to star in a wackified Green Lantern movie…but it mercifully disappeared from the pop cultural radar.

He would like Stephen Chow but the execs with the money will give him Rob Schnieder. Yeah, yet another suck comedy movie based on a tv show

When will they learn that the Green Hornet is not a super hero? He has no superpowers and does not wear tights! And the character is not to be played in a comedic vein.
Some how Hollywood keeps trying to make this harder than it is. Think James Bond with a mask and a partner. Not RUSH HOUR!
