Went to the link Mike Oxbig posted and realized two things:
(1) Lucy and Sally are the only “mangafied” characters that keep the characteristics of their originals and look good while “mangafied.” The rest, including the cute little redheaded girl (NOOO!) look like bland manga pin-ups, not Charlie Brown characters; they could have been for ANY manga project…
(2) I misidentified Linus (in my post above) as Pig Pen. My bad. I’ve read and watched Charlie Brown all my life. I can’t believe I just had a brain fart like that.

Pretty much sucks. Why waste your time stealing and modifying the intellectual property of others? And then the results are a still a big so what. Still I look forward to the mangerfried/Jpanimatronic versions of Shoe, Bloom County, Doonesbury, and let’s not forget Marmaduke and fuking Nancy! Get to work non-innovative tracers.

I’m waiting for the mangafied For Better Or For Worse myself….
