The Montclair Times recently caught up with Joe Kubert as his work is featured in a new exhibit at the Montclair Art Museum:
“I learned, years ago, that things that appear in a museum are not really an indication of quality at the time,” he says. “The thought that my work would be in that position — No, I never thought that would happen. That never deterred me from enjoying what I do — loving it — and considering myself very fortunate.”
