There are several comic book movie-related rumors making the rounds, so we’ve gathered them in one convenient post, to make it easier for you to dismiss or accept as gospel. I’d take these with a heavy dose of salt, though.

Samuel Jackson as Nick Fury in Iron Man?
Ain’t It Cool News passes along word that Samuel L. Jackson is playing Col. Nick Fury in Jon Favreau’s Iron Man. According to the website, the actor is shooting his scenes this week.
Seeing as how Mark Millar and Bryan Hitch essentially cast the actor in the role of the SHIELD director in The Ultimates, it’s not difficult to imagine Jackson in the trademark eye patch. I mean, all you have to do is look at that picture on the right.
At Cinematical, Erik Davis sees the rumored inclusion of Fury in Iron Man as “the first step toward integrating the superhero universe on the big screen,” laying the groundwork for The Avengers movie.
Returning to Barrow
Although the big-screen adaptation of Steve Niles and Ben Templesmith’s 30 Days of Night doesn’t hit theaters until Oct. 19, Cinema Blend reports there are already plans for a sequel.
In case you missed the news last week, the first trailer is available at the movie’s website.
Double the villains, double the fun?
This week was marked by the unveiling of the Batcycle Batpod from The Dark Knight, bit it also saw the emergence on a new rumor, courtesy of SuperHeroHype: One of the site’s, um, scoopers reports from Chicago that Cillian Murphy — The Scarecrow from Batman Begins – has been spotted on location, which may mean that The Joker isn’t the only supervillain in the sequel.
The site includes photos of a scene being filmed at a Chicago parking garage. According to “typeorocks,” they show Murphy and “the Scarecrow gang” meeting with another gang.
