Hulkamanga is runnin’ wild, brother

The 4th letter has up pages and an overview of what could possibly be the best reason ever for the existence of manga, the internet and maybe even the printing press … the Hulk Hogan manga:

That’s my favorite page, the one that chronicles how Andre the Giant bit Hogan’s arm off during a match back in the 80s. The site writes:

Yes, that’s right. It’s Hulk Hogan THE MANGA. Published by “Special Volume Ace Five Comics,” Pro Wrestler Superstar Biographies: Hulk Hogan tracks Hogan’s life from the beginning of his career to his time in Vince McMahon, Sr.’s World Wide Wrestling Federation. The comic utilizes an interesting version of kayfabe (the wrestling term for “the fourth wall”), with events in Hogan’s life both inside and outside of the ring depicted with the utmost seriousness one expects from biographical comics about pro wrestlers.

(Hat tip).

    Pretty cool

Oh, this needs to be translated and published here, and if there’s a way for Vince McMahon to make a buck of this (and Hogan, too, obviously, but McMahon will find a way to get a cut, you can be sure), then I have no doubt that it will.

I friggin’ hate manga. Any way for somebody to convert this to a solid art style?

Hogan manga? LOL that’ll be a trip… Hulk Hogan is all over the place today… I was on HollywoodZombies.com earlier and saw the picture of H.Hogan on there & thought I was going to fall backwards laughing!

Gentle nitpick, but the bloodiness is actually Hogan doing his “Axe Bomber” lariat attack… though I can see how it’d look like Andre biting said arm.

I’m surprised no one here seems to notice that grinning face in the background that’s literally half chin/jaw.
