Oh, how I wish I lived near New York City again. Advanced tickets went on sale yesterday for the New York Asian Film Festival, which has a pretty impressive slate of movies, including Death Note, Death Note: The Last Name and Aachi & Ssipak.

Death Note director Shusuke Kaneko will be a special guest.

The New York Asian Film Festival runs from June 22 to July 8 at the IFC Center and Japan Society.
