In the middle of Warren Ellis’s thread for creators on The Engine to identify themselves, AiT/PlanetLar’s Larry Young drops an interesting tease:
Sending [Marc] Bernardin’s MONSTER ATTACK NETWORK and Jon Proctor’s and my THE BLACK DIAMOND #2 to the printer this weekend… but I always find the “pro” label a bit unsettling in the “Mister Young” sense. I know it might apply, and it’s meant respectfully, but that’s somebody else, you know?
That said, in addition to the addition of the new human, I’m mulling over a monthly ongoing, as apparently misery really does like company.
Sure, AiT (having a reputation for sticking closely to the OGN format) has done monthly minis before (Demo and the above-mentioned Black Diamond), but a monthly ongoing…?
