Laura Hudson shares a story on her blog Myriad Issues about a random Joker sighting:
A guerilla marketing campaign for the upcoming Batman movie came to my comic store the other day, where one resourceful young individual scattered an all-joker deck of cards throughout the store, tossing them on the floor, hiding them in the bookshelves, and then just dumping a whole bunch in the elevator. Each card had the phrases “I believe in Harvey Dent,” “I believe in Harvey Dent too,” and “HA HA HA” emblazoned across them, and while that’s kind of cute, as the employee who had to clean up the mess, I am slightly less appreciative.
The cards of course are tied to this. And if you think the super-secret Joker website is really down, well … try again.

Tsk. Laura should understand that we are all merely the grateful beneficiaries of corporate street publicists and their thrilling contemporary promotional interventions in the public space. It is our privilege to clean up after them, for they are the sublime marriage of art and advertisement, and the very highest thing to which a human being can aspire.

Could have been worse. Could have been some LED signs that said HAHA and then you’d have had to call in the bomb squad.
Am I the only one that wants one of those all joker decks?

Still, it’s a Jokerish sort of thing to do, only without killer laughing gas or razors.
Or acid eroding the elevator cables.
