I’ve gotten an itch for small press/indy titles recently, so I decided to pick the first Scott Pilgrim volume up. It’s gotten a lot of buzz, and I just couldn’t resist.
Wow. It was like crack. I couldn’t put it down. I zipped through it and immediately wanted volume 2. I honestly can’t say why, either. The art style is fairly simplistic. The plot is…well…was there a plot? *shrugs* No idea. I guess maybe because it was fun and different and the dialogue is great. All I know is that I want more. All of that to say “YAY! More Scott Pilgrim!”
