So the last time I posted a fictional political advertisement for a certain Heroic political candidate, certain parties (heh) thought Newsarama was endorsing someone for office. Which kind of amuses me, but just for the record, Harvey Dent = Two-Face, and this is a campaign to build hype for the next Batman movie. Please don’t vote for him in your local election.

Reminds me of “Batman: The Long Halloween.”

Looks like Denis Leary there – now THAT’S who I’d like to see in a Batman movie! Maybe a really REALLY sarcastic Riddler…

i’m pretty sure that’s what they had in mind when they created this, seeing as how much nolan and co love that book and claim it influenced batman begins.

But what if I WANT Harvey Dent to be my DA?

Dent *does* go on to become Two-Face. Sounds like a real-world politician to me…

its not dennis leary… cant remember his name… he was in thank you for smoking…

His name is Aaron Eckhart. He’s also been in Erin Brockovich, Black Dahlia, Suspect Zero, Paycheck, and Any Given Sunday.

And perhaps most recently and famously, Eckhart appeared in “Thank You For Smoking.”

Hm, for some reason I must have missed the fact that Eckhart was to be Harvey Dent. Nice bit of casting, certainly a better choice than Ledger for Joker, though I’m not completely hopeless.
And is it just me, or is Harvey Dent NOT going to become Two-Face in the movie? Seems like I heard heavy rumors of that, but maybe not.

The rumor is that the Joker throws the acid in Dent’s face at the end, setting up Two-Face in the third installment.

He looks a little bit like Tom Jane… hmmm, maybe he should do the Punisher sequel…
