Continuing the theme of “DC, what are you doing to us?,” Millarworld wants to know whatever happened to the girl of tomorrow:
“Okay, I have been reading Supergirl since it was launched a couple years ago. I like it too. I really do. I like that they made a Supergirl who was not a chick knock off of Superman, and she is more than a survivor of Krypton. I REALLY enjoy this book. I love the idea of killing SM, and that she failed at fitting in with humanity. I have one problem though… I do not understand what the f$@& is going on. Really. I don’t. I think I know, but I don’t. The whole Kandor thing. What was that? When did it happen? Power Girl? What the high hell was she even doing there? Kandor is still in a bottle right? So, a new issue came out today and I think I know what is going on again, but if someone out there with 5 extra minutes could clean up this series for me I would appreciate it. I say again, I enjoy this book a lot, I just wish I knew what I was reading. I feel like I’m reading Latin sometimes.”
“Supergirl is becoming a Hawkman-mess; too many writers with little editorial direction. Everyone wants to define the new Supergirl. The problem can now be solved once it is revealed that the stories where about different Supergirls, fifty-two Supergirls if neccesary.”
“Dan Didio did not like Linda Danvers. . . then this mess. I’m not sure what’s going on. My only hope is that the Supergirl who showed up in this issue is the same Supergirl that showed up in the last few issues of PAD’s run, and that she’ll convince Kara II to find Linda so someone can slap some sense and a sandwich into that girl’s head.”
