I found this on Cartoon Brew and it made me nostalgic for all my old Calvin & Hobbes books, which are probably at my parent’s house, lost in their massive bookshelves, or, more than likely, tossed into a corner in the attic:
As Cartoon Brew notes, it is doubtful a Bill Watterson-approved C&H cartoon would ever happen. But this is a nice trip down memory lane. The animation was done by Donato Di Carlo.
Update: Donato left us a comment saying Bill Watterson asked him to remove the cartoon from the web.

That was rubbish! Hobbes got, like, 5 seconds of screen time. That misses the point of the strip entirely, surely?

I really liked that

It has professional dubbing, though. Calvin’s dubber is the same one who does the official voice for Bart Simpson, or someone so similar it’s creepy.

PS: saw the credits, it’s her. Cool.

I agree that it could have used a lot more Hobbes (the relative voice of reason in the strip
but it was still fun.

Sorry but Bill Watterson had ask to remowe this animation from the web.
So I respect his decision.
