Marlon Wayans threatened to do it 18 months ago in a Newsarama interview, and it’s finally come to pass: The Super Bad James Dynomite comic from IDW will be adapted for the silver screen and produced by Rogue Pictures, with Marlon in the title role, according to Cinematical.

The parody, channeling Shaft, Inspector Clouseau, Dolomite and Austin Powers, centers on the release of Dynomite after a 35-year stretch in the Big House to find the chump who framed him.
