Best wishes for a speedy recovery to the comics blogosphere’s own Dr. Scott, the proprietor of Polite Dissent.  His wife has posted that he is in the hospital following a mild heart attack. 

Dr. Scott writes about the intersection of comics and medicine, and has contributed his medical knowledge to the works of Gail Simone.  All of us here at Blog@Newsarama hope to enjoy his contributions for a long time to come.
