That’s right, I said the Toon-A-MILF contest. Craig Yoe, of “Arf Museum” and “Arf Forum” fame, has set up a little contest on his blog to decide who is the hottest cartoon mom of all time. He’s even got celebrity judges! The contestents will be revealed on Sunday (Mother’s Day, natch), and voting is open to all. Will Blondie beat out Daisy Mae? Will Betty Rumble out-vamp Jane Jetson? Will Elly Patterson prove more popular than The Family Circus’ Thelma? Who can say? I’m more freaked out by the fact that the Family Circus’ mom’s name is Thelma. Thelma?
In related news, Maxim recently compiled what they felt were “The Hottest Women in Comics,” which is about as depressingly predictible as you would imagine such a list from Maxim would be (Witchblade? Whatever). At any rate, it prompts Jacob Covey to list his personal choices.
And no, I’m not telling you what MILF stands for. Go look it up.

Cartoon Network did a similar thing several Mothers’ Days ago. The audience got to vote on “Best cartoon Mom ever”.
