I haven’t heard from my friend, Portlander artist extraordinaire Craig Thompson, for quite a long time as he’d been off the convention circuit after the meteoric success of Blankets and the just-as-great Carnet de Voyage, working on his next classic Habibi for Pantheon.

Then, lo and behold, on close to the very same day The Daily Cross Hatch uploads the first of a two-part interview with Craig, Mr. Thompson finally launches a blog of own, with a taste of Habibi — page 72 to be exact — and his cover art for Menomena’s new CD Friend or Foe.
