The fans at Millarworld consider DC’s promoting Countdown on MySpace:
“Good job DC. It seems that they are finally going to try to get ‘new’ readers instead of just focusing on the current fans. I don’t think that Countdown is the book I would push though. Not really sure if DC has a book coming up that has ‘crossover’ appeal.”
“Is this a jab at Captain America because he does not know MySpace, while Superman does? Shame on you DC!”
” I like that DC is trying this, but Countdown seems like the wrong project to try to get new readers. I mean, a weekly event series that will more than likely be steeped in crazy continuity and is leading to a sure to be convoluted MEGAEVENT.”
“Exactly. Anyone who isn’t a diehard fan will be lost. Hell, I consider myself a casual DC fan and I get frustrated with all of these characters I don’t know much about. What they need to do is add recap pages and character bios to mae it more accessible.”
” I consistently avoid two things: swimming with hungry alligators, and MySpace.”

I fixed the last quote:
” I consistently avoid three things: swimming with hungry alligators, MySpace and Millarworld.”

Wow…the Millarworld board has something negative to say about a DC book that hasn’t even come out yet – I haven’t seen a story like this since…. oh the last story on blog@newsarama that contained the word “Millarworld”
They hate DC..is that really news? Maybe they should focus on getting Clor his own book.

Dini is writing one of the most accessible DC books right now, Detective Comics. Just about everything that he writes is accessible. Perhaps that’s why Dini is on Countdown?!?
