Those days, the place was the prototype for Comic Book Guy, with the food abuse replaced with chain smoking, but with the same snotty attitudes. The kids running the shop today are running it the way a comic book shop *should* be run -- for fun and profit, with fun coming just a bit first. Dragon's Lair used to be this fun a place, but times change. Today’s Austin Books is a far cry from the days when Ron, Don and Vaughn were running the joint.
