Having already signed a deal with Marvel to bring Iron Man to a video game console near you, Sega (the folks behind Sonic the Hedgehog in case you don’t know) announced yesterday that they also picked up the rights to make games based on Hulk, Captain America and Thor. According to the story linked above, they’re already hard at work for a Hulk game to tie into the upcoming Edward Norton film.

I’d love something resembling a sequel to the Hulk: Ultimate Destruction game, with a bigger, more interactive city. But sandbox type games aren’t really Sega’s forte, are they?

Didn’t Marvel have a deal with Activision? They were making good games…this switch to Sega scares me. Change is terrifying.

You know, Sega made the original Spider-Man arcade game. Man, I wish I could play those old Marvel arcade games now.

It always bugged me that Sega never released the Spider-Man arcade game on Genesis.
