On his LiveJournal, Ben Templesmith announces he’ll return to the 30 Days of Night franchise in August with a three-issue miniseries for IDW Publishing called Red Snow:

Yep, after years away, I’m officially coming back for one more shot at the things that gave me a career. And writing it as well as drawing it too. A prequel of sorts, without any baggage, and hopefully a good story that harkens back to the original book.

Templesmith also includes solicitation text, chock-full o’ Nazis.
