Okay, so he doesn’t really – he’s shares my love of Adam Brody, after all – but how come I had to learn about his career change from his blog, instead of the (now former) CBR writer shouting it from the rooftops?
I apologize for the delay in updates, but with my new job I have less time for the blog and I’ve been busy moving to the east coast.
So what is my new job?
I’m now working for the House Of Ideas, best known as Marvel Comics, as Sales Coordinator– a fancy way of saying I’m doing marketing. I won’t be talking about my job here of course, as I’ve signed a confidentiality agreement, but it’s a great place to be and I get to use my EMT skills as a First Responder if an emergency arises.
And that was from the end of last month, proving that I should really pay more attention to these things. But still, why didn’t I know about this earlier? Where’s the outrage about a comic journalist selling out (as opposed to LITG coverage of a journalist un-selling out two years ago) to the almighty Spidey dollar? Maybe it’s got something to do with Jonah Weiland still running stories listing Arune as a staff writer (for those looking to outrage belatedly – There’s no conflict of interest, Arune quit CBR).
Nonetheless – Arune! Dude! Congratulations!
