This summer as the big blockbusters –movies like Spider-Man 3, The Simpsons and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer — face off in the theaters, there’s already one surefire winner … 7-Eleven, which has tie-ins with all three.
The Daily Progress out of Richmond, Va. details the various promotions that the largest convenience store chain in the United States has planned.
Up first — and per the radio ads I heard earlier today, out now — are Spider-Man 3 slurpee cups:
The Slurpee website has more info on the cups, as well as a contest to win a trip to the premiere.
FF get in on the game in June, and if the deal goes through, the Simpsons will take over 11 stores, literally, as they get turned into Kwik-E-Marts, complete with Buzz Cola and “Squishees.” No idea yet where those 11 stores will be, but hopefully one will be here in the Bay Area.
