Congratulations to Drawn & Quarterly’s Tom Devlin and Peggy Burns, who welcomed their second child — the strikingly handsome August Dagwood Devlin — into the world last Thursday.

He’s eight pounds, 14 ounces and both mom and baby are doing fine, Tom reports:

We knew Dagwood was in there somewhere and it fell to the number two spot. He will be known as “Woody” or “Dagwood” though; the flow just worked better with August first. You may call him “Augie” if you like.
