The Junior Veronica Mars (as I like to call her, to piss fans off) is about to get her day in the sun, it seems:
Warner Bros. will be utilizing Papercutz’ Nancy Drew graphic novels to promote its Nancy Drew feature film, which opens nationwide on June 15th. On-air radio promotions for the Nancy Drew movie in major markets will use Papercutz graphic novels as prizes.
Is it wrong that I read this and my first thought was, “Wait, there’s going to be a Nancy Drew movie?”?

There is a Hardy Boys movie in the works, isn’t there? With Ben Stiller and Tom Cruise as the “Hardy Men”?

I saw a trailer for the Nancy Drew movie, and it looks like it’s at least partially a parody…
(She’s a small-town girl who moves to LA, solves crimes, and gets mocked by the natives.)

I had the same reaction. I had no ideas there was a Nancy Drew movie coming up.
