No offense meant by the word "shill".

Just wondering why the disparity in the quality of panel coverage between larger publishers and smaller ones.

"Can Newsarama shill for them the same way they do for Marvel, DC, Image and Dark Horse?"

Y'know, I was going to respond to what I thought was a fair question about what Newsarama covers, but after reading that statement? Nah, don't think so.

Is it safe to say that along with Gargoyles, these are the only books SLG has coming out?

No, not really. The big news is that we have an original graphic novel coming out in May called The Clarence Principle. (The press release went out a couple weeks ago.) I'm pretty sure Dan showed the trailer for it at the panel. Byron and Whistles will also have print collections. We had preview copies at the booth. Information about all those books are at our website, www.slgcomic.com or at eyemelt.com.

I think Greg Weisman mentioned the Gargoyles: Bad Guys projects we're going to be doing at his panel, too.

In all fairness, two SLG titles were mentioned - two that can be downloaded at eyemelt.com - Whistles and Byron.

I still have no idea what these books are about, what they look like, who did them etc. Is it safe to say that along with Gargoyles, these are the only books SLG has coming out?

"Sure, it started out with the typical presentation of projects..."

Just curious...

How come when I read about a Marvel or DC panel it is filled with excruciating details and pics of their upcoming projects... yet when I read about an SLG panel, I can't even get a name of ONE title that they will be releasing this/next year.

Is it possible to get a list of what SLG presented at the panel? Can Newsarama shill for them the same way they do for Marvel, DC, Image and Dark Horse?
