So as I was making my way around the convention floor yesterday taking pictures of people behind tables, either sketching, signing autographs or talking, when I thought, “Why not try to get some action shots?” But short of trying to start a fight between a Stormtrooper and a Green Lantern, what could I do? Enter David Mack:
Mack was in Artist’s Alley, selling copies of Kabuki and his DVD, The Alchemy of Art: David Mack. He’s not only talented, but also very cool, as he was game to help me out:

Mack’s been working on a children’s book called The Shy Creatures, which Kabuki readers might remember appeared in the comic:
The mothership will soon have an interview with Mack on the book, which comes out later this year.

Is it just me or is David Mack really hot? He could totally give Tim Leong a run for his money.
