On the heels of the Oscars, Ain’t It Cool News Comics presented their annual @$$ie awards earlier this week.
The irreverent awards show was hosted by Crucifer and gave out miltiple awards in a number of different categories. For best single monent or issue: Thing #8, the poker game issue, and Justice Society of America #1, among others, both received awards. The most impressive schedule award was given to DC’s 52, and the least impressive to Ultimate Wolverine vs. Hulk. And for best publisher, AICN recognized Oni Press, Archaia Studios, Image. AiT/PlanetLar and DC Comics.
