Yeah, I’ve still got more pictures to share. No comments about the quality please. I already know I’m hopeless with a camera.
Taken during the blogging panel on Friday. From left that’s Heidi McDonald, Christopher Butcher, Ron Hogan and Johanna Draper Carlson. There were actually a number of bloggers at the panel, including Brigid, Elayne and Brian from The Daily Cross Hatch.
Geppi’s Entertainment Museum had a booth at the show, with a number of old time curiosities on display.
There was a lot of tabletop gaming going on at the show, especially of the trading card variety. In fact …
… there was a whole section of the upper level devoted to gaming. It didn’t seem particularily crowded when I was up there, which made it a good place to sit and catch your breath before moving on.
Aaaaaaaaaahhhh! Kill it! Kill it! Don’t let it come near me! Aaaaaaaa!
Remember that car with all the drawings of various cartoon characters on it. Couple of mainstream news stories about it last year. Anyway, it was at the show.
More line photos. The line not only snaked around the building, but around the interior as well, and you had to cut across it if you wanted to head over to where the panels were being held.
Just in case you thought those DC anime action figures were just a bad dream, let this photo prove they are a sad reality.
And let me leave you for now with this picture of Dark Horse’s upcoming Jimbo action figure. Unfortunately he was behind glass, so I couldn’t check to see if it was anatomically accurate, as advertised.

That card game is Chaotic.

I like those Anime DC characters. I don’t understand the negativity surrounding those at all.

Yeah, they’re negative, all right. As in negative gravity.

Bummer, Chris, I wish you’d come up and introduced yourself after the blogger panel! Then again, since almost everyone in the audience was a blogger it was all a bit overwhelming.

Elayne,
I meant to say hi, but I couldn’t find you after the panel was over. I saw you again at the Minx talk, but I couldn’t stick around that time as my train was going to be leaving soon. We’ll definitely exchange pleasantries next time though.
