Staying on the movie theme, if you haven’t had a chance to watch the short 2-minute trailer for the documentary, Will Eisner: The Spirit of an Artistic Pioneer (produced by Montilla Pictures), do it now! According to Kris Schackman of Schackman Films, although the project is 95 percent completed, a release date still hasn’t been announced.

Hmmm, wouldn’t a July, summer day in San Diego be a nice place for it to open???
One HUGE plus in this documentary’s favor: The two principals working on it are Jon Cooke of the stellar Comic Book Artist as writer/producer and his brother Andy Cooke as director.
