Even independent comics have action figures!

Mouse Guard

As a sort of point/counterpoint to my fearless leader J.K. Parkin’s post last hour about the Spidey Spud (couldn’t find an image of this wonderful thing last week to save my soul…), I just wanted to remind you lovers of all things Spandex, characters without masks from independent comics can ROCK as action figures too…

This snippet from Galleycat, via MediaBistro, features one of his awesome finds at this week’s Toy Fair: Action figures from David Peterson’s wonderful indy series Mouse Guard published by ASP. If you like what you’re seeing, check out this link for more Mouse Guard images from figures.com.

    Very cool.

Dang, I haven’t even read Mouse Guard yet (waiting for the trade) and I still want to get one or all three of these figures. They’d be the first figures in my collection too.
