If you’ve never had a chance to look at the work of Acme Novelty Library genius Chris Ware up close, you’re in for a rare treat, of course, if you live anywhere near the Sheldon Memorial Art Gallery, on the campus of the University of Nebraska in Lincoln.
During its ongoing salute to comic art, the museum unveils a separate exhibit for Ware’s work starting this Friday, Feb. 16 that’ll run until April 29.
Barring a winning lottery ticket, however, chances are good most of you won’t be able to make it, which is why the gallery is hosting a live podcast of a conversation between Ware and Sheldon curator Daniel Sidell Friday at 5:30 p.m. at www.unl.edu.
