Any and every science or disclipline worth knowing anything about needs an expert like Scott McCloud, the Understanding/Reinventing/Making Comics guy who’s as friendly, engaging, intelligent and opinionated (in a good and positive way) as they come. He’s also the best friend of any journalist, as reporter Jeff Salamon, no doubt, found out in his interview with McCloud, appearing in Sunday’s Austin American-Statesman.
McCloud and his family are on the second leg of their Making Comics tour, now spending a few days in Dallas (review the list of future tour dates) before heading to Austin for a meet and sign at Austin Books Saturday, Feb. 17 from 7-9 p.m.
