TV Squad reports on Heroes‘ Hayden Panettiere’s budding singing career:
Move aside Hillary Duff. Hayden Panettiere wants some of that hoopla too, and the proof is in her new music video for the straight to DVD Disney’s Cinderella III: A Twist in Time.
If we knew that this was how you were going to repay the masses by saving your life on Heroes, then maybe we would have asked our beloved Heroes to do something else.
Stardust moves to August
Neil Gaiman reports that the film adaptation of Stardust will open in August rather than July. “I was thrilled to hear that Paramount moved the date of release to August 10 2007. Which means we’re no longer up against the Simpsons Movie etc.”
Let the Wookiee Win
Boingboing reports on a man dressed as Chewbacca headbutting a tour guide in front of Mann’s Chinese Theatre. Chewbacca was mean to Japanese tourists after he tried to get money from them for taking his picture, and the tour guide stood up for the two women.

Third Ghostbusters film goes CGI
Following in the footsteps of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, the Ghostbusters are on their way back to the big screen in a CGI sequel to the previous two films:
Aykroyd says his script — Hellbent: Ghostbusters Go To Hell — will now be brought to life as some kind of CGI-animated project, with Bill Murray’s blessing and even his involvement. Given the money thrown at CGI these days, this new angle doesn’t automatically preclude it from being a big-budget film you’d actually want to see, but I’m guessing it won’t be. It sounds like Murray finally agreed to lend his voice to this thing just to shut Danny up.
