She spends her own money to buy them in hardback (an unheard-of luxury in our house) even though her friends buy them too. They seem to be as addictive to the tween set as Death Note is to the grownups. (Actually, she reads Death Note too.) Anyway, I think they have hit on a real winner here. My daughter and her friends all read manga and they love the Warriors, so I'm guessing this will be a case of two great tastes that taste great together.
