Both Batman on Film and Dark Horizons are reporting Aaron Eckhart (Thank You For Smoking) is now in the mix to play Harvey “Two-Face” Dent in the Batman sequel, The Dark Knight, that’ll start shooting this summer in Chicago. And, somebody named Maggie Gyllenhaal (Secretary) may replace Katie Holmes as Rachael Dawes, if not Emily Blunt (The Devil Wears Prada).
I know he’s too old to play either the Joker and Dent, but a slightly younger Ray Liotta as seen in Something Wild or Goodfellas would’ve been perfect…

Funny, I always saw Eckhart playing Captain America at some point. Still, good casting (if it’s true)

Eckhart would be an excellent casting choice, while Gyllenhaal would give Dawes the much-needed edge that Holmes lacked.

Damnit, I want Rachel McAdams to be in the next one!

He’s perfect. In “Thank you for smoking” he was so smooth and charismatic, it was awesome. He’ll play a wonderful Harvey Dent and a really cold and evil Two Face.

Perfect choice for Dent!

Hehe, that’s funnyfunny, ’cause before ‘Begins’ came out (and before Gary Oldman was cast), I always thought Eckhart would be the perfect young Jim Gordon.
But yeah, he’d make a good Dent too.

Interesting choices. We’ll have to wait and see how it all works out. As usual.

It’s official… Aaron Eckhart will be playing Harvey “Two-Face” Dent… I think he is an excellent choice… these people seem to really know how to pick them. I know alot of people aren’t sure about Heath Ledger being Joker, but give it a chance… the people running this show have made great decisions thus far, just think… Heath Ledger must of really shown them something special to get cast as Joker… I personally can’t wait.

Aaron Eckhart as Two-Face…..mind-blowing in the most positive way. As a fan, this makes the movie that much bigger.
