Further to yesterday’s announcement, Dan Goldman explains just why Kelly won’t be appearing on Nerve.com after all:

They sent me home with a kill fee for my troubles; their editor acted surprised at what he’d received, even though we’d talked extensively on the phone and both he and the EIC they’d approved my script in early January. Thankfully, I’d been smart enough to restipulate my contract so they couldn’t operate on my baby after delivery.
On Monday, their editor said the sex was “too negative” in his email to me, which makes very little sense given that it’s a (albeit trippy and obtuse) romance comic.
Top to bottom, I think my and Nerve’s definitions of what is sexy are simply chocolate versus vanilla.
